Sean O’Hair’s Ten Rules

One of the best players on tour this year is Sean O’Hair. He is fifth on the PGA Tour money list, fifth in scoring average and has risen to thirteenth in the World Golf Rankings. He is the only American under thirty with three wins on the PGA Tour. This year he has six top tens and a win at The Quail Hollow Championship. In this month’s Golf Digest he has an article titled “10 Rules I Learned On Tour.” This young man had a very difficult period in his life. He was able to move past all his troubles and now has a solid, supportive family. He has matured into a well grounded family man with his priorities in order. His rules include: “Be comfortable in your own skin” and “Life can’t revolve around golf.” Those are pretty good rules for life, not just the tour. At The St. Jude Classic, Brian Gay was able to hang on to his lead. He’ll be looking for his second win of the season tomorrow. Phil Mickelson is T23 and getting primed for The Open. John Daly finished with a round of 71 and hasn’t had a train wreck yet.
