Check out the U.S. Open winner that started the golf craze in America.  Amateur Francis Ouimet a 20- year-old caddy beat the best golfers of the day at The Country Club in Massachusetts.  Ouimet bested two of the best professional golfers in history when he defeated his hero Harry Vardon and Ted Ray in an 18 hole playoff in 1913.  Golf exploded in America after his win.
