Phil Mickelson goes into this U.S Open as everyone’s favorite. The Open has been Phil’s “White Whale” and he has found many different ways to end up with five second place finishes. He wants this one bad and he’ll get plenty of support from the fans at Congressional. He likes the course and feels it is a very fair setup that gives you options on each hole. Time is running out on Phil and his window to contend at majors. Despite his failure to win he loves the Open. This is a big week for Phil and a win here would mean so much for him.
