A Surprising Win for Sean O’Hair

by Jeff Skinner

Listen to RBC Canadian Open winner, Sean O’Hair as he tries to explain how he got so out of sync this year that he went back to his childhood coach to find his swing.  He gives thanks to his family, friends and supporters for helping him get through this tough season.

He felt for Kris Blanks as he missed a bogey putt in the playoff but realizes that those are the breaks of the game.  He’s a humble man that realizes it was a group effort that got him to this point of redemption.

He finally convinced himself to just “let it go…and see what happens.”  That’s further proof that the mental side of this game can stifle even the best of players.  Sometime less is more, as in “thinking” that is.
