Finally it is here: It’s Masters Week and this is the most anticipated week in golf. The Masters represents so much for so many. The history, the tradition, the course, the past 
champions and the first major of the year kicks off the golf season for many.
With so many popular golfers playing so well the anticipation for this year’s Masters seems to be more intense than in previous years.
Not surprisingly the three most popular golfers in the world are the top betting favorites as the week starts. Our mates at Ladbrokes have a resurgent Tiger Woods as the favorite at 9-2. Rory McIlroy is just behind Tiger at 6-1 and Phil Mickelson enters his favorite major at 12-1. Talk about getting no respect: 2011 Masters Champion Charl Schwartzel is at 40-1 to go back to back at Augusta.
If those three can all be near the lead on Sunday the Masters would certainly live up to this pre-tournament hype.
