Tiger Woods Chips Into History

Tiger Woods did it again at Jack’s place.  Tiger claimed his fifth victory at Nicklaus’ Memorial Tournament with a come from behind win.  Woods was hitting on all cylinders the entire day and rocked the house with this incredible chip in on the sixteenth hole.  It was all he needed for the win but Tiger went on to close with a birdie at eighteen for a two stroke win over Rory Sabbatini and Andres Romero.

Tiger’s second win of the 2012 season was also his 73rd as a pro and it ties him with tournament host Nicklaus for second place behind Sam Snead who has 82 wins.  Nicklaus called this chip in on the extremely difficult sixteenth one of the best shots he had ever seen.
