There’s plenty of talk about the opening hole at Royal Lytham & St. Annes as it’s the only course in the Open Rota to start with a par three. Just because it’s short doesn’t mean it’s easy. The 205 yard first has more than its share of the 200 plus bunkers that populate Royal Lytham. There are nine bunkers surrounding the green and with a bit of wind it will be a stern test for everyone.
