Bode Miller Clocks Wife in the Eye

For those that think golf can’t be a dangerous game take a look at Jay Busbee’s post about Bode Miller and his wife Morgan.  Somehow Bode accidently hit Morgan right in the face with a shot.

Now, the human skull doesn’t react well to meeting a golf ball traveling over a hundred miles per hour and her face shows that dramatically.  Luckily, she was wearing sunglasses, very good sunglasses, and they deflected some of the impact.

Morgan is a professional volleyball player and obviously one tough woman.  According to her Twitter posts, she’s doing better and fortunately does not have to worry about losing her eye.  Without a doubt this is one of the ugliest things that can happen on a golf course.
