Arnie & His Bay Hill On Display This Week

by Jeff Skinner

The fans that flock to the Bay Hill Club this week for The Arnold Palmer Invitational are in for a treat.  This is a good field of golfers on an historic course.  They’ve been teeing it up at 2013 Arnold Palmer Inv.Arnie’s place since 1979 with a list of past winners that includes Fuzzy Zoeller, Payne Stewart, Paul Azinger, Tom Kite, Fred Couples, Ben Crenshaw,  Vijay Singh, Phil Mickelson,  Ernie Els and of course Tiger Woods.

Tiger is attempting to win Arnie’s Tournament for an amazing eighth time.  Maybe they should call it Tiger’s Place.

And let’s not forget that Arnie will be everywhere this week shaking hands with old friends and making new ones.

For those of us that can’t rub shoulders with Arnie and his crew at Bay Hill we can get an inside look at all things Arnold Palmer Invitational through a digital program of the tournament.  Click here for the link and enjoy the same program the fans at Bay Hill will be asking Arnie to autograph.

Jeff Rude has a nice piece on who else but Tiger Woods.  “With four victories in 16 starts following last year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by MasterCard, Tiger Woods appears to be on the rise again.”

Jim McCabe profiles Brandt Snedeker who returns to action after a layoff for a rib injury. “After winning earlier this year at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Brandt Snedeker carries a quiet confidence that makes him a factor whenever he tees it up.
