Yes, this is why we say the pros on the PGA Tour play a different game than us. With his ball semi-submerged at the 17th hole at Bay Hill, Nicholas Thompson passed on the ball retriever and got down, dirty and wet. He hits the shot of the week…heck maybe the season and goes on to par the hole. That’s why we play the game to try and make a shot like this.
