Phil Mickelson says he is playing some of the best golf of his career and he is ready to add another big win to an already successful season. A WGC title or a PGA Championship are within Phil’s reach and he knows it. We’ll see one very focused 43 year old at Firestone and Oak Hill the next two weeks.
Phil wants to strike while his irons (and three wood) are hot. After the Open Championship we shouldn’t be surprised to see something special from Phil over the next few weeks. He is on that kind of high, the kind where he thinks he can win every time he tees it up.
