Wet Friday Means Long Saturday at The Presidents Cup

by Jeff Skinner

Things got pretty wet down here in Dublin and the Presidents Cup play was suspended while an inch of rain soaked the course and the 35,000 fans.

It was a tough day for players and fans alike.  But my Friday wasn’t a total disaster as I spent some time exploring Columbus’ famous Short North district which was absolutley great.  But the real treat on Friday was a short chat I had with USGA Executive Director Mike Davis.  So talking to one of the most powerful and respected man in the game was enough to make my day, golf or no golf.

The players will have a very long Saturday as they complete Friday’s session and try and finish their fourball and foursome sessions.
