Peyton Manning Moving On…Will Play Pebble Beach

by Jeff Skinner

The Super Bowl Champions Seattle Seahawks are certainly making the rounds.  Russell Wilson paid a visit to Letterman, Richard Sherman needs some lozenges after all the talk shows he has done and MVP Malcolm Smith’s “I’m going to Disney World” commercial is splendid.  But while many of the post Super Bowl perks are reserved for the winners there are a few that don’t differentiate between winners and losers.Peyton Golfing

Fresh off his Super Bowl humiliation Peyton Manning is trying to put that performance in his rear-view mirror and a sure fire way to do that is to play Pebble Beach, and Manning will do just that.

Tim Rosaforte reported on this morning’s Morning Drive that the 2013 NFL MVP will tee it up at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.  Manning will play with former 49’er Harris Barton as he looks to move on from a dismal performance in the Super Bowl.

He won’t be the only NFL quarterback scrambling along the Pacific as Aaron Rodgers and Alex Smith are also in the field.

I can’t think of a better transition for Peyton.  A round of golf is good for what ails you.  A round of golf at Pebble Beach… well it’s not the Lombardi Trophy but it is sure to give you some great memories.
