Someone said it last weekend, one of the talking heads covering golf: a happy golfer is a better golfer.
Sergio Garcia has been one happy golfer lately and today he showed just what a happy golfer can do with a happy putter.
Sergio had 11 straight one putts…yes eleven on his way to a record tying 61 at Firestone. He finished with seven straight birdies to set a back nine record of 27 and leads the WGC Bridgestone by three strokes.
That’s one happy golfer.
