Daniel Berger’s Amazing Double Eagle

Daniel Berger is having a sold rookie season on the PGA Tour. Heading into the Arnold Palmer Invitational he had already earned 3 top tens, 6 top 25’s and made well over one million dollars.

Well his PGA season got a lot better this morning when he made the rarest of shots: a double eagle.

On the par five sixth hole he landed his 4 iron on the green from 237 yards. It rolled straight to the hole and disappeared in the cup for a two.

It’s the first ever “albatross” or double eagle in the API and will be remembered and not just by Berger for a very long time.
