Chris Kirk made a clutch par from the rough on his final hole at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial for a 66 to stay at -12 and avoid a playoff with his three nearest pursuers and capture his fourth PGA Tour win.
Jason Bohn had lit up the course with a 66 to get to eleven under. Brandt Snedeker couldn’t manage a birdie over his last five holes and Jordan Spieth’s final hole birdie left him one short.
For the win Kirk pockets $1.17 million, earns 500 FedEx Cup points and gets this really neat jacket.
