Sneak Peek: Chambers Bay No.6 & No.7

Holly and Gil are back with the sixth hole at Chambers Bay a healthy par 4 at 495 yards. Trent Jones II calls the bunkers that border the sloped fairway “coffin bunkers.” Players will be hitting into a long, narrow green which is one of the smallest on the course.

The seventh hole is a classic Cape design and another long par 4 at 508 yards where players can choose to bite off as much as they want to try and get it farther down the fairway. But even then they will face a raised green with a severe false front and “hog’s Back” running through the middle of this very challenging green.
