The thirteenth hole at St. Andrews starts a brutal string of holes. This 465 yard par four challenges players to stay away from a sinister group of Coffin bunkers. Then it asks players to approach a very well defended green.
The 618 yard fourteenth is a par five that forces players to think about their tee shot. Out of bounds awaits them on the right and on the left a cluster of bunkers named the Beardies threatens a wayward shot. A steeply contoured green makes this a devil of a hole.
