The fifteenth is another par 4 at 455yards. The Sutherland bunker in the middle of the fairway will only pose a threat if the wind is blowing strongly from the east. The fairway tightens on this hole at about 300 yards.
The par 4 sixteenth is marked by the fence that guards the route of the old railway into St Andrews and it runs down the entire hole on the right hand side. The green is guarded, front and rear, by bunkers.
