Rickie Fowler said he would like to make the Big 3 the Big 4. He wants a piece of that action and he did all he could to earn his place today.
Fowler played steady golf down the stretch at the Deutsche Bank and when leader Henrik Stenson rinsed his tee shot on the sixteenth hole Fowler was there to pounce on the lead.
Fowler’s 68 was good enough to win the second leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Paired with his PLAYERS Championship and his Scottish Open title Fowler has crafted one very successful season.
