It’s been over three week since I’ve written anything about Tiger Woods. In the golf media world that’s a lifetime and a sure way to miss out on readers and plenty of web surfers clicking on your site. But Tiger and his travails have not been truly newsworthy in my opinion.
A sure way to garner traffic and readers is to have Tiger’s name in the headline and write about him regularly, just peek at any of the golf websites and it Tiger this and Tiger that. 
Truth be told the last time Tiger was featured in an article here he wasn’t even the main character. Tiger was playing Steve Scott in his last U.S. Amateur when Scott made the move that would define his amateur career.
Anyway, Tiger made big news recently but again he’s not the focus of the attention. It was eleven year old Taylor Crozier who really made the news, Woods just happened to be hanging around, so to speak.
At Tiger’s new Bluejack National course he was opening the new Playgrounds Course, a short family friendly layout that kids and others will use to have fun.
Enter Taylor, second on the tee. He hits the shot of his young life with Tiger watching and the cameras rolling.
It won’t get much better for this kid and what a great memory. And Tiger’s reaction was wonderful. He actually looks human.
