James Hahn Takes the Wells Fargo Championship

It was an exciting finish at the Wells Fargo Championship with James Hahn earning the win over Roberto Castro on the first playoff hole.

Hahn had it to ten under par but an untimely bogey on the difficult 18th hole dropped him back into a tie with Castro. But his luck changed when Castro pulled his playoff tee ball into the creek that guards the left side of the fairway.

He did manage an impressive up and down from behind the green for bogey but Hahn had shaken of his recent bogey and his two putt par had him grabbing the hardware.

It was Hahn’s second PGA Tour win and comes after a period of rather poor play and self-doubt as he missed his last eight cuts.

Hahn was emotional afterwards and acknowledged how difficult a run it has been recently.

It’s a funny game…and Hahn gets the last laugh.
