Things really heat up at this week at The PLAYERS Championship as the best field of the year will tackle one of the most beguiling courses in the world.
The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass was built to give the fans a great viewing experience while at the same time testing the golfers on each and every shot.
It was one of the best finishes in the PLAYERS history last year as Rickie Fowler answered his “overrated” critics with a dramatic playoff finish. On Sunday he charged like no other golfer ever had with an amazing six strokes under par over the last six holes.
And he absolutely owned the infamous seventeenth hole. In six tries he birdied it five times…amazing.
