Jordan Spieth Already Knows How to Get His A Game Back

The U.S. Open is just a month away and the world’s best will be working on refining their game in the coming weeks as they head into Oakmont, their toughest test of the year.

At the top of that list has to be the defending champion, Jordan Spieth who isn’t playing anywhere near the level he used to win two majors last season.

Can Spieth regroup and settle down to find the magic that had him take the Master, U.S. Open (near misses at the Open Championship & PGA) and win three other tournaments and the FedEx Cup.

Spieth doesn’t have to look any further for his game than the June issue of Golf Digest which features him on the cover. In what many would say is a bit of irony his cover article is entitled “How to Get Your A Game Back” by Jordan Spieth.

Spieth can take his own advice to bounce back from his missed cut at The Players.

Here are Spieth’s five moves get your A Game back: get your hands over your right shoulder on the back swing, make a complete turn in your backswing, makes sure to create some lag in the downswing, extend to the target on the down swing, and hit the ball, then the ground…DUH!

There it is Jordan, your perfect formula to fix your game from the horses mouth himself.

Hopefully he gets a copy of Golf Digest before he tees off Thursday.

Note: this article is in the magazine and as of now not available on the Golf Digest website.
