Major Week at The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship

It’s another major championship this week as the LPGA Tour moves to Sahalee Country Club in Washington for their second major of the season.

Inbee Park is the three time defending champion and a win would put her in the LPGA Hall of Fame. But a wrist injury has kept her from performing her best and caused her to withdraw from her last two events.

Lydia Ko won the first major of the season at the ANA Inspiration and with her Evian win at the end of last season she is going for three straight.

Gerina Pillar has been playing great golf and has moved to sixteenth in the world rankings.  In her last nine tournaments she has seven top tens including two T3’s and a T2.

Ariya Jutanugar is on quite a run also.  After breaking through for he first win she has strung together two more.  She’ll be looking for her fourth on the tough Sahalee course.
