It’s Open Championship week and the venerable Royal Troon Golf Club hosts the Open for the ninth time. The course will play to a par 71 at 7,190 yards. It sits on the Firth of Clyde on the south western coast of Scotland so as usual in links golf the wind will have plenty to say in deciding the Champion Golfer of the Year.
