Royal Troon gets difficult, very difficult as the players turn for home.  The three toughest holes on the course greets the field when they make the turn.

The long par 4 tenth will play at 451 yards and was the third hardest hole in 2004.

A longer par 4, named Railway will play at 482 yards with the railroad bordering the hole on the right.  This traditionally is the most difficult hole on the course.

Yet another stout par 4 the twelfth hole played as the second toughest hole in 2004.  This is a stretch of holes that will take a few players out of The Open.
