Caddyshack 101 was a huge hit this January as part of our mini-term — we discussed race relations, stereotyping and really was able to use the movie as a jumping-off point for discussing many issues of the day.

It was a great way to get the students engaged in thinking about their world a bit differently.

Is anyone getting the idea that you can take “the best” golf instructor in the world and not the best specimen in the world and not get good results?

I am amazed at the futility of it. It is a complete trainreck.

I can’t take my eyes off it becuase of it.

When will the public realize Ave. Joe can teach Tiger and he will still be the best.

I am reminded by what putters are popular and why. Tiger wins with a certain type of brand putter so everyone in the world must have it because…

I am going to go out on a limb here. I am going to suggest Tiger is a better golfer than Romano but that Romano is naturally more funny than Tiger. I wonder what Tiger would do by taking comedy lessons from Romano’s teacher?

I doubt he is going to come across any funnier than he already is…

I find it odd that Garry Smits works for the publishing company that was in a law suite with John daly. What do you think about that? They also released the article on the day the show was starting. You don’t seem to write about that.

You are a loser! THeres 51 other tournaments every year for you to watch true golf! If we can have the anal nature of the “patrons” at augusta then we get the other extreme which is a par 3 inside fenway park! I love it and go to phoenix every year for the tournament! But yea…golf i better with no fans who9 lightly clap! Thats why winners get over a million each week! You are an idiot!

Are you kidding me? Its about time the best golfers in the world were put through the same punishment as other great athlete in their respected sports. Did Babe Ruth whine when he was booed in Detroit? How many times was Jordan harassed when he play at Madison Square Gardens? I think the Stadium Course is a great venue and will be a fan of it for as long as it continues.
