The PGA Tour starts in earnest today as The Sentry Tournament of Champions honors last seasons winners this week and is followed by 2018’s first full field event next week on Oahu at the Sony Open. I can’t imagine anyone making a trip to Hawaii and going home disappointed. Fabian Gomez certainly is leaving paradise happy as he took home the hardware at the Sony Open. Gomez finished at twenty under par and had to play two more playoff holes to take the victory from tour veteran Brandt Snedeker. It is his second PGA Tour win to go with his 2015 Fedex St. Jude Classic victory.
