Yang Leads Tiger’s Tournament

“Hooks and Slices” will bring you our view on whats happening in the golf world.

In what has to be considered poetic justice, Y.E. Yang has the lead at Tiger’s Chevron World Challenge. Yang beat Woods at this year’s PGA Championship and up until last week’s revelations was probably Tiger’s worst memory of 2009. Y.E. Yang is the least of Tiger’s worries now as he has a few other issues to attend to now.

At Sherwood Country Club, Yang holds a two stroke lead over Kenny Perry, Padraig Harrington and Ian Poulter. Yang and Perry both shot a tournament low 65. Yang has been battling the flu and Perry played the round with glasses instead of his usual contacts.

At Q-School J.P. Hayes and Troy Merritt share the lead at -12 with the third round delayed due to bad weather. You can watch some of the Q-School action on The Golf Channel from 1:00pm-4:00pm today.
