What did those boys in the green jackets put in the water at that Champions Dinner? Tom Watson’s five under was shocking enough but now Freddy Couples finishes at six under? You have got to be kidding me. This leaderboard looks fantastic. Couples leading with Watson, Westwood, Mickelson and Yang all one stroke back after a crazy day at Augusta.
Freddy meanders around Augusta like he owned the place and for today he did. Freddy’s laid back demeanor served him well as he carded seven birds and a lone bogey and used only 24 putts. With a group of names like that at the lead it can only get better.
