Old major champions don’t fade away; they just go on to The Skins Game and keep on winning. Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson teamed up to edge Bernhard Langer and Mark O’Meara by ten thousand dollars in The Champions Skins Game in Hawaii.
With five skins on the line the greatest player of all time stiffed a six iron to ten feet on the par three seventeenth. Nicklaus’ partner, Tom Watson stroked in the birdie putt to give them the win and a successful defense of their 2010 title.
It was Jack’s fifth win at The Champions Skins Game and the fourth for Tom. It never gets old watching Nicklaus and Watson.
