Charl Schwartzel’s Green Jacket Ceremony at The Masters

By Jeff Skinner

There is one thing I would change about The Masters:  the ceremony in Butler Cabin when the Augusta Chairman introduces the low amateur and the winner.  It’s uncomfortable and unnecessary.  Frank Chirkinian agreed with me and wanted it scrubbed but that’s one the few “deal breakers” the Augusta Members had.  They had to have that Butler Cabin bit.  I guess if you put on the greatest tournament in golf you get to set the rules.  Anyway, here’s a clip of the outside ceremony.  I’ll take this one anytime.
