It looks like a few members of the victorious European Ryder Cup Team are enjoying themselves in Turkey.  Lee Westwood and Justin Rose will meet in the finals of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Final.  Justin Rose beat Tiger Woods by a single stroke in the semi’s and a very hot Lee Westwood dispatched Charl Schwartzel after Westwood shot a sizzling 61 to Schwartzel’s 67.  Click here for scores.

The LPGA is back in action at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.  Na Yeon Choi and Karrie Webb share the first round lead at six under par.  Paula Creamer and Brittany Lang are the top Americans and they are four strokes.  World number one Yani Tseng continued her struggles with a painful first round 78 which included four bogeys and three double bogeys.  Click here for coverage.

Nick O’Hern is still searching for his first PGA Tour win and he is off to a great start.  He tied the course record as he carded a bogey free nine under 62 to lead the first round of the Frys.com Open.  O’Hern sits at 144th on the money list and a good finish here will go a long way to help him retain his tour card.  Click here for scores.

Good news from the Champions Tour as they announced that Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer will compete in the PNC Father/Son Challenge in December.  This is the first time they are staging the event since 2008.  There will be 18 teams of professionals and their partners, mostly sons, but a few daughters also.  This is a beloved tournament among the seniors and many of them will tell you that this is one of their favorite events.  Click here for details.
