Is the glass half full or is it half empty? In Phil Mickelson’s life it’s always half full. Only Phil The Thrill can come away from an wild round like he had on Saturday and be “excited about the weekend.”
He went from shooting a 63 on Friday where he made everything to a scrappy 71 today where he played Army Golf…left, right, left, right. There was no telling where his tee shot was landing but with typical Mickelson flair he managed to get the ball in the hole in some very creative ways.
Check out his post round interview where he says he played embarrassing golf but then says he found his game and his ready to make a charge on the weekend.
Here is Phil’s fantastic recovery on the par three eleventh hole. Adam Scott couldn’t believe what he saw and even Tiger Woods had to give Phil some respect on this one.
