Zach Johnson: Short Hitter With A Big Game

by Jeff Skinner

Once again Zach Johnson proved that you don’t have to be a bomber to win on the PGA Tour.  Playing along side one of the longest hitters in the game, Dustin Johnson, Zach used his wedge, putter and most of all his head to best Dustin by seven strokes for the day and win the Tournament of Champions.  Jordan Spieth finished one back of Zach but really presented no threat as Johnson exhibited his brilliant short game and pulled away on the back nine to that earn his eleventh PGA Tour win.  Here’s Doug Ferguson’s game story.
