Hideki Matsuyama Wins The Memorial

Crazy things happen in this game of golf and today was no different. Bubba Watson was poised for another win. World number one Adam Scott had his chance. But a relatively unknown youngster was able to top those two veteran major champions.

Twenty two year old Hideki Matsuyama birdied the 72nd hole to tie Kevin Na and then went ahead a beat him in a one hole playoff. It is his first year playing the PGA Tour as a member and winning your first tournament at Jack’s Place has to be special.
