The year was 1993 and a young Tom Watson was the captain that led his American Ryder Cup Team to victory.
Watson is back at the helm for this year’s Ryder Cup and is counting on a repeat performance as a winning captain.
Amazingly, Watson’s ’93 win was the last time the Americans were able to claim the cup on foreign soil.
Here’s a flashback of that victory. Maybe the Americans can use it for some inspiration as they try and break the European hold on the Ryder Cup
