Happy Birthday Tiger Woods

Tiger turns 40 today and even he realizes he is not getting any younger.  Recently Woods has taken a different tone when talking about his career.

He has said that he’s had a good run and that he is satisfied with his career if it ended now.  But…he also has said he’ll be back to working out and practicing as soon as he’s able after his rehab from his third back surgery is complete.

Tiger appears to have mellowed a bit and that may have come from the realization that his body will no longer do what it used to.  Or maybe Tiger realizes that he is human after all and a father with two kids and a whole other life off the course.

Whatever happens when or if Tiger returns to the course it is highly likely we won’t see the kind of Tiger that dominated golf for a decade and a half.
