Oakmont Country Club does not get any easier as the players head down the stretch.
The fifteenth will play as the longest par 4 on the course at 500 yards. A blind tee shot faces the players with a fairway guarded by Church Pews on the left with bunkers and ditches on the tight. A very long green is guarded by an even longer bunker on the right and a pair of bunkers on the left. Three putts could be common here.
The sixteenth is the last of the par 3’s and will play at 231 yards. The large green is fronted by a deep bunker on the right and a pair of them on the right. The green has many subtleties and par will be a solid score here.
