Oakmont Claims Its First Casualty

We all know how tough Oakmont Country Club will be on the players once the U.S. Open starts on Thursday…but the big brute is tough on caddies too.

The first casualty of the 2016 U.S. Open was qualifier Chris Crawford’s caddie, Bill Henaghan who fell while on a steep slope near a bunker and broke his ankle.  You can’t make this stuff up.

Luckily, Henaghan was attended to by the Pittsburgh Steelers team doctor, Jim Bradley who happened to be nearby.

It could be a crazy week at Oakmont.
